My column tomorrow looks at yet another area where air regulators are racheting down exhaust in the name of pure air and at the cost of businesses.
I wouldn't even really mind that much if I truly believed that:
A) our pollution was really that bad (it's not, in fact our air is cleaner than it's been the last 30 years)
B) PM 2.5 was really that dangerous (studies conflict and ones that show there IS a danger have never had results replicated)
C) the regulation was done with some thought, logic and real attempt to understand consequences to business (never is and this is just one more example!)
