Wimbish is selling cars as a "field rep" for Taft Chevrolet Buick Pontiac.
And he's good at it, selling five to six vehicles a month. (No word on whether each sale comes with a "we'll kick your ass" door decal, for those who remember that little debacle during Wimbish's tenure as Sheriff.)
Hey, five cars a month is HUGE, especially considering the dealership did 10 sales in April.
Good to know Mack has landed butter side up. He's a nice guy. Not the best of Sheriff's but a nice guy.
Mac is a nice guy and he did a fairly good job as Sheriff considering he had little or no command background and little or no initial support from the command staff. His saving grace was it is hard not to like him and outgoing Sheriff Carl Sparks was a stand-up guy who did to best to make for a positive transition. At 5 cars a month, Obama might consider appointing him as "Car Zar" and Mac could make the recovery finally happen without all this red ink federal spending!!
